Representatives of the Agency for Prevention of Corruption visited Lithuania, within the “Facility Supporting Strengthening Rule of Law in the Republic of Serbia“ (EU for Fight Against Corruption and for Fundamental Rights), co-financed by the European Union, the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), and the Austrian Development Cooperation (ADC). Study visit was focused on gaining additional knowledge on corruption prevention mechanisms in Lithuania, as well as experience exchange with the similar institutions in this area. The meetings were held with the representatives of the Special Investigation Service, Chief Official Ethics Commission and Ministry of Interior. Topics discussed pertained to corruption risk assessment, corruption proofing of legislation, integrity, analytical tools, raising awareness on corruption related threats, coordination and monitoring of implementation of the anticorruption measures, conflict of interest, and lobbying.
